Caught My Eye! Visual Metaphors

Miami International Airport is proud to present Caught My Eye! Visual Metaphors, the first exhibition of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools 2019-2020 school calendar. For this show, students (Grades K-12) employed common techniques in popular advertisements, such as, visual simile, analogies, borrowed interest, killer facts and more, to create their own effective and thought-provoking visual metaphors in their work.  This exhibition called for students to think metaphorically and restructure concepts to visually communicate whatever they created in their mind’s eye.
