Using the form of a storefront window, Ghost Palms combines the organic structure of palm trees with the window’s architecture along the 300-foot interior wall of international baggage Claim. Subtly colored iridescent glass evokes a sense of oversized “stained glass” windows that depict magnified fronds and branches of various types of palm trees. The terrazzo floor creates the illusion of shadows cast by the palm images.
