For MDAD’s quality assurance review process, project design professionals are required to submit their work at various phases. To define more clearly the documents that design professionals shall submit, and thereby to avoid disagreements on the subject, MDAD has established the Deliverables Requirements Manual. It contains Deliverables Checklists and Deliverables content sections for each review phase and each design discipline for a major project involving all those phases and disciplines.

At the outset of projects, the Project Managers and design professionals shall use this Manual to establish and document the agreed-upon deliverables that shall be submitted and reviewed. The Checklists shall be edited to conform to the needs of the individual projects. The checklists may be downloaded by the PM’s from the MDAD Intranet and modified for that purpose, although the remainder of the Manual in the Intranet and all of it in the Internet is read or print only. In the Table of Contents, scroll down and click on the section numbers to open each individual section.

You will need to use Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the new DRM checklists  in PDF. If you do not have the plug-in installed in your browser, you can download it from the Adobe site.

At each review phase, each design discipline shall submit a copy of the appropriate checklist checked off to indicate the deliverables included in the submittal, plus justifications or waivers for deliverables not submitted, if any. The PM shall attach the checklists, justifications and waivers to the letter of transmittal.
