The Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) won a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for Fiscal Year ended September 30, 2007 for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. This is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a governmental agency.

In keeping with its commitment to excellence in reporting, MDAD prepares a quarterly report of Miami International Airport’s financial performance. This quarterly report will serve as a historical record of changing trends in the airport’s financial governance.
