(Miami-Dade County, FL) – Small businesses seeking useful information regarding contracts with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) are invited to attend MDAD’s Small Business and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Workshop on July 28, 2005, at Miami International Airport (MIA).
The workshop will provide information regarding financing options, insurance, bonding and other available resources. The workshop, which was coordinated by the Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD), Miami-Dade County’s Department of Business Development and the U.S. Department of Transportation, evolved from the need for additional information to support the growth of small businesses at MIA.
There will be an opportunity to learn from and interact with financial institutions, insurance and bonding companies, and other resource organizations. An overview of concessions opportunities and the latest update on the DBE Uniform Certification Program will also be discussed.
This workshop is an outreach of MDAD and is offered at no charge. Space is limited, and participants must RSVP by contacting Lourdes Borrego at 305-876-7753 or by email at lborrego@miami-airport.com.
