(Miami-Dade County, FL) – Eurofly, a European scheduled and charter airline with weekly flights from Italy to Miami International Airport (MIA), will extend its flight season in 2005 from June through December.
Eurofly began providing service at MIA June 12 to October 16, 2004, and carried nearly 5,000 passengers in fiscal year 2004.
“We are extremely pleased that Eurofly has found this route to be successful, and we look forward to continue serving its international passengers,” said Carlos F. Bonzon, Ph.D., P.E., Interim Aviation Director.
Eurofly utilizes Airbus A330 planes, and its flights depart Milan Malpensa Airport in Italy on Saturdays at 12:50 a.m. Eastern time, arrive at MIA at 11:25 a.m., depart at 1:30 p.m. and arrive at Freeport, Bahamas at 2:25 p.m. local time.
