MIA WELCOMES NEW BARCELONA SERVICE BY AMERICAN AIRLINES


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 
On April 3, Miami-Dade Aviation Department and American Airlines officials celebrated the airline's inaugural flight from Miami International Airport to Barcelona. The flight will operate five times a week until June 14, when it begins daily service. The flights will utilize Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 225 seats, which include 30 business class seats and 195 seats in the main cabin. Barcelona is the 111th destination and fourth in Europe served by American and its regional carrier American Eagle from MIA.
